Air Astana Executives and Employees Receive “Qurmetti Aviator” Award

Senior executives and employees of Air Astana have received the “Qurmetti Aviator” (“Honoured Aviator”) departmental award in recognition of their contributions to the development of civil aviation in Kazakhstan.
The award, presented for many years of dedicated service, high professional achievement and significant contributions to the aviation sector, was given to Air Astana CEO Ibrahim Canliel, Senior Adviser to the Board of Directors Peter Foster, Executive Director for Government Relations Erdaulet Shamshiyev, Senior Vice President for Revenue Management and Commercial Planning Erbolat Baisalykov, Vice President for Cabin Services Elena Obukhova, and managers working in the airline’s international and corporate relations departments.
The recognition highlights the contribution of Air Astana’s team to strengthening Kazakhstan’s aviation industry and developing international cooperation.
The “Qurmetti Aviator” badge is awarded to civil aviation professionals with at least 10 years of industry experience who demonstrate outstanding performance, fulfil their responsibilities to a high standard and provide guidance to younger employees.
